We interrupt this transmission with a personalized translation of the Hymn of the Pearl, itself a probable older gnostic/phoenician fairy tale attributed to Bardaisan.

The Syriac Font used is Estrangelo Edessa from the freeware Beth Mardutho set of Kiraz

Doctrinal hymn of Yehuda Taoma apostle of in the land of Hinduia

1 When I was an infant and a suckling and dwelling in my kingdom the house of my father

2 roaming in palaces and leisures my fosterers rested me in peace

3 From Madinah my parents equipped me tardy with food and language skills and their blessings and sent me free commissioned

4 And from the superabundance of the sanctuary perchance they bound me to a burdensome mitre

5 .It for me was old and full and fast and light so that I only could bear and wear it. (or I could bear and wear the circlet)

6 T'was of Gold from on High and silver from Great Gaza

7 Charkdony from Hindia and piedstone from the House of Cush

8 They girded my loins in adamantine in an iron pelican

9 They sent me stripped of my shining in which they had sold me as a debt bondsman

10 And to annoint me in the scarlet of return bespoke for my ashrama

Admittedly it doesn't make much sense. And don't blame me mate I didn't write this stuff. Coz that is the point translating into simple english a gnostic/phoenician fairy tale so that it makes complete sense is to comprehensively miss the point. Ten lines down 95 to go. Then when we return we shall to a new versified version of the Gospel of Mathew prepared by a deceased Syro-Malabar priest monk who never having attended University to study but merely lived prayed and breathed the Syriac will have come up with something well worth a new translation. Got my MA dissertation right there if you ask me. And it's a suck up to SEERI because he was a priest/bishop beloved of SEERI, the Syriac is published by SEERI and as yet no takers for an English Translation. So long as they don't get me for Heresy ah well there I can see a problem what do you mean don't blame me I just translate the stuff are you certain that's a possible translation. yeah.
